Color!

It is a lovely day in Tacoma!

I took a few shots of the beautiful flowers around the neighborhood today and wanted to share them.  Unfortunately the flowers on the tree by my house are in verying degrees of wiltedness.   But as you can see I'm trying to make the most of them :)

This afternoon I had the opportunity to do a maternity shoot for my neighbors.  They were so great to work with!  I thought I'd share some of my favorites with you.

On the fence

Here are a few shots of Ezra from this morning.  I have 2 photo shoots today, so I thought I'd better warm up the camera :)

Em took this shot of the girls on our outing to point defiance.  I played with the color a bit and added a little blur on the edges, it's so cute I had to show you!

Magnets

I have been in a magnet making craze the past couple of days!  I also finally got  flash for my camera, so I thought I'd show them both off!  

I am so excited to have my first two shoots this/next week!

Sick Days

Here are a few more pictures form this weekend.  Unfortunately little Ezzy is sick :(  So we didn't get out and about too much, these are all from around the house.

I love Goodwill!

So I found a new posing chair today at my local Goodwill store.  

As you can see it's pretty interesting/crazy-ish :)  My faithful assistant obliged to let me test out some shots with him in it out in the back yard.  I think Ezra is starting to warm up in front of the camera a little more, but then again he doesn't have much of a choice!

At the Nisqually Wildlife refuge

Today we went to the Nisqually Wildlife refuge located halfway between Tacoma and Olympia.  It was a big cold and windy, but we had a great time.  There are so many birds and ducks to be seen, and we saw a beaver swimming through the water.  I told Ezra we would go try to find some wild animals while we were there.  I think he was a little disapointed we didn't find any bears or hippos :)

First Warm Day of Spring

Well, maybe not the first warm day of spring, but surely the warmest so far.  I think everyone in Tacoma was outside today!  Here's a few pictures from this morning.

A trip to Point Defiance with Emily Madison and Brooke

Ez and I got to go to Point Defiance Park with Emily Madison and Brooke.  The weather has been warming up a bit so it was great to spend the afternoon outside!  I took the opportunity to snap a few shots of the girls.  Brooke has started crawling, and Ez and Maddy had lots of fun playing.  Maddy is pretty much the coolest person in the world in Ezra's eyes so I think he really enjoyed our trip :)

In the glass garden...

We are lucky to have such a beautiful indoor garden here in Tacoma.  It's a great place to visit on rainy days.  I went with Ezra and they had beautiful blown glass pieces by local high schoolers on display all through out the garden!  Ez loves to smell all the flowers and feed the koi.

I'm sure you can tell from my many posts today that I'm so happy to have my computer back!  Here are a few pictures from the Seattle Aquarium.
